Alice Jean (Stipe) Trevithick, 88, passed away on August 17, 2017. She was born to Paul and Bonnie (Coleman) Stipe on July 19, 1929 at Moiese, Montana. Alice married James N. Trevithick of Geraldine on October 29, 1953. They settled on the Trevithick farm northwest of Geraldine where they raised seven children. Alice loved her children, her garden and her chickens. But above all else Alice loved the Lord and was a faithful example to her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by six of her children: Ellen Marie and Dale Stephens, Anita Trevithick, Mary Richey, Joyce Trevithick, Ken and Beke Trevithick, Lola Trevithick and daughter-in-law Melody Trevithick. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, all of whom she delighted in.

Alice is survived by six of her siblings: Leola Taylor, Esther Davison, Chuck Stipe, Mary Douma, Laura Dykstra, and Barbara Bales.

She was preceded in death by her husband James, son Paul, son-in-law Paul Richey, grandson Ryan Richey and granddaughter Gracie Trevithick. In addition she was preceded in death by her sisters Corrine Kamp and Alma Davison.

Funeral services will be held at 11am on Saturday August 26, 2016 at the Ag Center in Fort Benton, Montana. A luncheon will immediately follow with burial at the Geraldine Cemetery at 3pm. Memorials in Alice's name may be made to the Geraldine Ambulance Fund. Benton Funeral Home has been entrusted with services and arrangements.
