Charles John Naeseth, 80, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023, at Peace Hospice in Great Falls, Montana. A private family burial was held Monday, November 27, 2023, at the Riverside Cemetery in Fort Benton, Montana. Memorial contributions in Charles' honor may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Charles was born December 5, 1942, in Roseau, Minnesota to Milton and Lottie (Zeidlik) Naeseth. He joined his older brother Lester. Charles was raised and educated in Minnesota, graduating from Goodridge High School. He was introduced to Jacquelyn Gardner by her brother and the couple fell in love and were married on December 14, 1963, in St.Vincent, Minnesota. The couple moved out to Montana and lived in Carter, and Charles worked at the Smelter in Great Falls and also helped farm. In 1968 they started Naeseth Construction making septic tanks and in 1973 they purchased the Ready-Mix Plant on Highway 87 in Fort Benton.
Charles was happiest when he was out working. In February of 1997, he was injured in a life altering accident.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother Lester Naeseth.
Charles is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Jacquelyn Naeseth. Two sons, Gary (Denise) and Robert (Wendy) Naeseth. Four grandchildren; Christopher (Kelsey); Cory (Lindsay) Naeseth; Casey (Eric) Sieverts; Chisolm Naeseth. 3 Great Grandchildren.
