Obituary

God's finger touched her and

she slipped away.

From earth's dark shadows to

a brighter day.

God saw the road was getting

rough

The hills ere hard to climb.

He gently closed her weary

eyes

And whispered, "Peace be thine."

To a beautiful garden this

friend has gone,

To a land of perfect rest,

Though she is gone she still

lives on

In the garden of memory.

Colleen Blackman was born on November 24, 1958, to Margie Stoner and David Schaub. She arrived on a cold November night but upon arrival she warmed everyone's hearts.

Connie worked for twenty years at the Missouri Medical Center as a CAN. She loved fishing with her sons and big brother, camping with family and friends. She was an avid rockhound. Anywhere she went she managed to find buckets of rocks. As a baby and child Connie managed to keep everyone on their toes this included her parents.

She had a great love for animals especially cats. In her lifetime Connie may have owned fifty cats and managed to take care of any strays that showed up at her door.

Connie's sons were her greatest joy. Jeremy and Adam had many adventures with their mom camping in the mountains and collecting rocks that sometimes were as big as them.

She was preceded in death by her husband Tim Thrash, Father David Schaub, nephew Reno Hown and brother-in-law Larry Martin.

Connie is survived by her mother, Margie Stoner. Her two sons, Jeremy (Rae) Thrash, and Adam (Kari) Thrash. Her sister Charlene Martin, brothers; Newell (Lori) Schaub, David Schaub and sister Carlotta (Larry) McGarvey. Grandchildren; Kiana, Jaden. Jeric, Jaylee, Jazzmine, Annalise. Great Grandchildren; Aiden, Adelyn and Kade. Numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials in Connie's honor may be made to the Deadman Foundation P.O. Box 1282 Fort Benton, Montana 59442.

A gathering of family and friends will meet at a later date to celebrate Connie's life.
