Eric Thomas Burtchett, 25, passed away in a motor vehicle accident on Sunday morning, October 10, 2021. Cremation has taken place and his memorial service will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 23, 2021 at the Geraldine School Gymnasium. Eric was born March 22, 1996 in Butte, Montana to Thomas Patrick and Melanie Ann (Little) Burtchett. Eric was raised in Geraldine graduating from Geraldine High School in 2014. While in High School Eric was involved in football, basketball, track and Pep Club.

After graduation Eric worked at CHS Big Sky as an applicator until July of 2021 and then began a career at Hybrid Steel as a welder and a millwright.

Eric had a love for adventure and the outdoors. Whether it was bird hunting, fishing, mingledorfing, or jitterbugging, if he was going to do it, he was going all out. Eric also enjoyed sitting around the campfire, as well as playing pool and cornhole with his family and friends.  He touched everyone who knew him and he will be so very missed.

Eric is survived by his parents Thomas and Melanie Burtchett; his brothers Michael and Patrick and sister Lauren Burtchett. Maternal Grandparents Larry and Susan Little and Paternal Grandparents James Burtchett and Marilyn Kase.
