Kurt passed away in his sleep on November 26, 2022. Kurt was born to Dean and Sharyl Larson on June 21, 1971 in Big Timber, MT. One week later they moved to Highwood, MT. Kurt graduated from Highwood High School on 1990. He attended Northern Montana College from 1990 to 1996. He then moved to Fort Benton, MT, where he lived and worked until his death. Kurt worked at the Chouteau County Sheriff's Office for 19 years. He left due to declining health.
Kurt was a kind, gentle, loving soul and a great family man. He had many friends and was open to more. He never met an animal (kittens) he didn't like or who didn't like him. He also loved 80's hair bands and was very knowledgeable about them.
Until recently he was married to Sandra Maxwell for 10 years. She brought him 3 children. Kimberly Taylor, Joshua Rollans and Logan Maxwell all of Fort Benton. He was a great father to them. He also adored his nephews Rob, Andrew, Kris and his niece Rhianna. He was adored by all 7 of those children.
Kurt is survived by his father Dean Larson of Highwood, MT., brother Keith Larson of Willard, MO; sister-in-law Debra Larson of Willard, MO; and brother Kevin Larson of Billings, MT. Countless aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother Sharyl Larson in 2011.
Kurt's final resting place will be beside his mother at Riverside Cemetery Fort Benton, MT.
A celebration of life will be on December 2, 2022 at 2 pm at the Methodist Church in Highwood, MT.
