Louise was a great farm/ranch wife. She could make a wonderful meal out of anything. She drove tractor, calved out the cows, and also volunteered as an EMT for the Geraldine Ambulance. She enjoyed living on the ranch and harvested a plentiful garden each year. She enjoyed her garden and loved to can. She was known for her Choke Cherry syrup. The ranch yard was always tidy and mowed. Louise's greatest passion were her horses. She loved to ride and share that experience with others. She hosted Sam Meads Clinics in Fort Benton and in Havre to encourage young novice riders.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Mittal in 1983; her son, Stuart in 2000; and her siblings: sister, Doris Rowland and brothers, Roy, Verne, Ray and Dale Wishman.
