Mary Elizabeth Dornblaser Good passed away peacefully on December 7th at the Missouri River Medical Center and Nursing Home in Fort Benton. She was 100 years old. Mary was born to Anna Marie Bouchie and Mark Dornblaser in Hastings, Nebraska on July 31, 1916. Benton Funeral Home has been entrusted with services and arrangements. Her family moved to Bynum, Montana when she was 2 years old so that her father could work on the construction of the Going to the Sun Highway. The family moved to Oilmont and Mary lived there until her graduation from Oilmont High School. Mary moved to Great Falls so she could attend nursing school. There she met N. Paul Good. They were married and moved to Sunburst and Paul worked in the oil fields. They moved to Great Falls and then Paul began farming in the Carter area. The moved into Fort Benton so that their children could be nearer to schools. They farmed for many years on Teton Bench. Paul passed away in 1964. Mary then moved to Anchorage, Alaska and spent three years nursing. She returned to Fort Benton to be near her family and friends.
Mary was a 50-year member of Bethany Chapter, Order of Eastern Star and a member of Fort Benton United Methodist Church.
She began spending winters in Arizona and there met and married Ernest Boucher. They resided in Fort Benton for many years until their health began to fail. Ernie passed away in February, 2011. Mary continued her life at the Missouri River Medical Center until her death.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Owen and Earl, sisters Alta Nielson and Lucille Struble, her daughter Anna Mae Mckeever.
She is survived by her children; Wyley (Gail) of Fort Benton and Kent (Rolene) at Wilmot, SD. Grandchildren are Kelly Mckeever, Nikki Stovall, Becky Agamenoni, Paula Pease, Jennifer Doney, Charles Good, Bromley Blumfield, Lance Good, Devon Good. Also 15 great-grandchildren survive her.
At Mary's request, there will be no funeral services and she will be buried next to her husband N. Paul Good in the spring or summer. The staff at the Nursing Home became her very good friends and they took good care of her, the family would like to thank their many kindnesses and tender care of her.
