Rick Lee Hardy, age 64, passed away on Friday, March 16, 2018 of natural causes.  He was a long-time resident of Miles City, MT, but always considered his birthplace, Fort Benton, to be 'home'.

Rick was born February 16, 1954 to Gene and Edythe Hardy.  He graduated from Fort Benton High School. Rick grew up farming and trucking, and after a number of years working construction, he rejoined his parents in their farming and rental property business in Miles City.

Rick, or 'Ace', as many of his close friends and family called him, loved hunting, riding motorcycles, driving his corvettes, and eating an endless number of meals at Taco Treat.

He is survived by his parents, Gene and Edythe Hardy, his daughter, Donelle Kuntz (Mike), his adored grandchildren Taylor and Tia Kuntz, great-grandchild, Hudson Kuntz, all of Great Falls, and his sister Connie Nottingham (Kip) of Richland, WA. He is also survived by many cherished family and friends.

Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of Rick's life will be held Thursday, March 29, 2018, at 3:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home, Fort Benton MT, with a gathering to follow at the Club House.  Benton Funeral Home has been entrusted with services and arrangements.  Please visit Rick's online memorial page and leave a message of condolence for his family at www.bentonfh.com.
