Roy Gene Lundy, 75, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Benefis Hospital of natural causes. His memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, January 14, 2023, at the Geraldine Community Bible Church. Military honors will be held outside of the church. Memorials in Roy's honor may be made to Devin Leistiko Memorial Scholarship Fund at Glacier Bank in Fort Benton, Montana or to the Shriners Children's Hospital, 911 W 5th Ave, Spokane, WA 99204. Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Benton Funeral Home.

Roy was born November 2, 1947, in Fort Benton, Montana to Ed and Phyllis Lundy. He graduated from Geraldine High School in 1966, went on to further his education at Northern Montana College where he graduated with an Automotive Degree. After college he joined the Army Reserves, while continuing to farm for Jack King for 21 years and then went on to work for several other farmers in the community.

In 1978 Roy married the love of his life, Susan Byrd, and was gifted two children, Joel and Melissa. They would have celebrated their 45 ^th Anniversary this June.

He was preceded in death by his grandson, Devin Leistiko, his parents Ed & Phyllis Lundy. Grandparents Jim and Deloris Bishop and sister Sherry Breyer.

Roy is survived by his wife, Susan. His son, Joel (Louisa) Lundy; daughter Melissa (Eric) Leistiko. 7 "baby brats", Joelle, Jensen and Jalyn Lundy, Morgan, Payten, Kaitlyn and Brynn Leistiko and one great grandson Ryan Lundy. A nephew Shane Breyer and great nephew Aiden Breyer and a half-sister Emelie Eaton.
