Sharon was born October 22, 1955, along with her twin sister Karen, in Great Falls, Montana to Marge and Grant Canoy. She was raised and attended school in Great Falls. Their brother was born 9 months before the twins and they were like the "Three Amigos" being more like triplets, than twins and their brother. Sharon worked various jobs throughout her life as a CNA, a waitress, and worked as a volunteer fire fighter. She enjoyed people and took in every animal that was injured or stray. She raised bear cubs, owls, dogs, cats and birds. There wasn't an animal in need that was ever turned away. Her passion was put into her horses, Smokin' Joe and Yahoo Louie. And her oldest companion, her dog, Olivia, who passed away after Sharon.
Her compassionate heart drew her to be friends with many people. She was very giving of her time, heart and energy. She had a wonderful sense of humor, loved all types of music and could talk to just about anyone.
She was preceded in death by her father, Grant Canoy, mother, Marge Dickman, brother, Jimmy Canoy and half-brother Marvin Dickman.
Sharon is survived by her twin sister Karen (Pat) Hultin; brother, Brett Canoy, half-sister Nikki Voytoski, and half-brother Bobby Dickman.
